Julite & David are self-professed “nerds” with a love for books. Their engagement shoot was shot in an old book store here in Halifax so I thought it would be neat to continue this old library book theme throughout the entire wedding. We went a little deeper with the colour palette and used rich purple hues with modern greens to create that vintage, warm, warn leather library chair feel. The seating assignment table included an oversized book we customized with Julite & David’s own love story inside. David’s whimsical version was a hit!
Favourite Detail: The bride’s bouquet was simply stunning thanks to the girls at PROPS! I loved the way the mix of flowers, fiddleheads and purple wheat came together. Not to mention the jewelled handle!
