NAUTIGIRL GLAM -Update Events team celebrates 2011 in style!
2011 was quite the year for Update Events and many of our team members. We dealt with many personal challenges, such as the tragedy of my own father’s death, along with professional changes and an office move to Bedford. It took a lot of hard work, tenacity and dedication to pull through. As any successful business person knows – you are only as good as your team and I am truly, truly grateful to be surrounded and supported by so many wonderful ladies that help make this company run. Especially for their efforts in 2011!
So it was about time these gals could put away the tool boxes and planning folders and put on the stilettos. It was time for me to throw a party for them! What better way to do that then with a glamorous photo shoot night? That’s how NAUTIGIRL GLAM was born.
The ladies were pampered with sparkling cocktails, “EAT ME” dinner in a box by Kitchen Door Catering, make up transformations by artist Vicky Mina, outfitted and “bling’ed” out by Sara from Vintage Pink Treasures Jewellery and personal stylist Ashley Kielbratrowski, and then modelled in their own fashion shoot for the amazing team of Jeff & Jenn at Jeff Cooke Photography. And as if watching the girls jump up and down in delight when they saw themselves on the back of the camera wasn’t enough…we invited a few industry friends to join us for late night desserts and concoctions.

The most rewarding part of this, for me, was watching the delight and confidence grow on the faces of these fabulous ladies as they saw, and came to realize what I already knew, just how beautiful they are! This night was more than GLAM, this night was more than THANKS…this night was EMPOWERING.
